Pokemon

When Pokemon Go first came out, I was in the early stages of learning Illustrator. I loved how the loading screen with Gyarados seemed so achievable for me at the level I was at. I thought that it would be awesome if the loading screen changed at the time of day, urging players to be extra careful when playing at night. I posted this in mid October, and was disappointed that they made new artwork a few days later featuring Gengar. It was so good, definitely beyond my skill level and very different from the simple cartoony vector it was before. The Pokemon Go loading screen artwork is absolutely stellar these days. I haven't played in a while, but I'm level 31 in case you were wondering.
