Logo Animation Concept

I was really pleased with the logo I came up with for an imaginary company that I named Ripe Media. I had actually used a different logo for that light effects animation, but I decided that it didn't fit and set out to make an original logo to be unveiled. I had gone through two attempts to make a new logo before I came up with this one, first being a cutout of Spike Spiegel's ship from Cowboy Bebop, and the other was a mango. I was just messing around with circular shapes and the divide tool when I made something that I thought looked like a bunch of bananas. I thought a good way to show that they were bananas, was to show them ripening as they increase size and thus, Ripe.

Anyway, I liked the way it looked so much that I decided to make another animation for it. I wanted to see if I could make several natural moving parts for a logo. I think it turned out well!
